Denali Skydance
30" x 20"
Mount McKinley, also called Denali, looms over a bull Caribou wandering through the arctic night. Above, the ever changing spectacle of the Aurora or Northern lights dance in the sky.
Earthshine
17" x 25"
When we experience a thin crescent moon on earth, the moon has a nearly full Earth in its sky. Since the Earth is far more reflective than the moon, it acts like a great mirror bouncing light onto the Moon’s darkened hemisphere; hence the term “Earthshine.” This view is similar to what one would see through a low power telescope viewing the scene with ancient bristle cone pines in the foreground. The brilliant planet Venus shines to the upper left.

National Park. A lofty snag serves as a Pacific Ocean lookout for a bald
eagle searching for his morning meal. These birds, our national symbol, are
common to this area, the last true wilderness beach in the lower forty-eight
states.
